Jean Ann Vogler

March 13, 1922 - July 31, 1998

Jean Ann Vogler, 76, of Devonshire Drive, South Bend, Ind., passed away after an illness at 4 a.m. on Friday, July 31, in the Fountainview Nursing Home, Mishawaka, Ind. Mrs. Vogler was born in Mishawaka on March 13, 1922, as the daughter of the late Joseph and Aline (Scott) Stuller. She was a lifetime Michiana area resident.

 

On Oct. 19, 1946, in Mishawaka, as Jean Ann Stuller, she married Fred J. Vogler, who also preceded her in death on Feb. 7, 1983. Mrs. Vogler is survived by two sons, Ronald J. Vogler and his fiance (Diane Dahlin) of Granger, Ind., and Thomas R. (Kathleen) Vogler of Greenwood, Ind.; four grandchildren, Michael Vogler, Ann Vogler, both of Granger, Caitlin Vogler and Sean Vogler, both of Greenwood; and by three brothers, Dr. Richard Stuller of Cassopolis, Mich., Emerson Stuller of Dallas, Texas, and Joseph Stuller of San Antonio, Texas.

 

She worked with her brother, Dr. Richard Stuller, for 13 years in his optometrist practice.

Mrs. Vogler was a member of the Evangel Heights United Methodist Church, South Bend, A.A.R.P., and the Tri Kappa Sorority. She worked on March of Dimes for many years. She was also past president of the P.T.A. at Beiger School and Mishawaka High School.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 3rd, in the Hahn Funeral Home, with Rev. Edward Fritz officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 2nd, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.
