MISHAWAKA - Barbara L. VonBergen, 82, formerly of
Mishawaka, passed away on Wednesday, May 28th, in her home in
Noblesville, IN. She was born on March 16, 1926, to Larry and
Sadie (Hickman) Davis. Barbara is survived by
daughters, Jayne VonBergen of Noblesville and Deborah Hendrix
of Dallas, TX; and two grandsons, Max Rafert and Michael Clodfelter.
Also surviving are sisters, Donna Trowbridge of Syracuse,
IN, and Dora Herold of Holland, OH, as well as several
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter,
Margaret VonBergen, a sister, Lois McLaughlin, and a
brother, Hubert Davis. Barbara retired to Noblesville, Indiana,
where she remained active as a volunteer at Hamilton Centers
Youth Services Bureau. She was a member of Albright United
Methodist Church, Mishawaka.
Memorial services are to be held at 1 p.m.
Friday, June 6th, in Albright United Methodist Church, 504 W.
Mishawaka Ave., Michigan, IN 46545. Burial of cremains will be at
Syracuse Cemetery, Syracuse, IN. Memorial contributions may be
made to Albright United Methodist Church. Bubb Funeral Chapel is
handling arrangements.
