Peter Voros, 90, of 1033 W. Jefferson, died at 4:;50 a.m. today in St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was ill a short time. He retired in 1954 from the former Singer Mfg. Co. He was born on Nov. 11, 1886 in Viteyed, Hungary. He lived here 72 years. His wife, Rosalia Voros, died on March 24, 1975. Surviving are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Joseph Nemeth of South Bend, two stepsons, Joseph Balha of South Bend, and Steve Balha of Florida; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother, all of Hungary.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday in St. Stephen’s Catholic Church. Msgr. Elmer G. Peterson, the pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home, where a parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Thursday.
