Mrs. Christella Voss, 79, of 54224 Northern Ave., died at 5:07am today in Memorial Hospital after an illness of several weeks. She was retired form Robertson’s Department Store.
She was born on April 8, 1903, in Zeeland MI, and lived in the South Bend area since coming from Buchanan in 1936. On April 8 1924, in Zeeland, she married Clarence Voss. He died in 1973. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Betty Doud of Granger, Mrs. Lois Cocking of Morton Grove IL, and Mrs. Evelyn S. Lehman of Jackson MI; 11 grandchildren; a great grandchild; and a brother, Willis Zwagerman of Holland MI
Services will be at 1pm Friday in Calvary Baptist Church of which she was a member. Rev. Charles Reed, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Thursday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William.
