MISHAWAKA - Seth Oliver Wade, 21, of
South Logan St., Mishawaka, Ind., died early Thursday morning,
March 26th. Seth's death was a result of an automobile accident
that occurred on Northside Boulevard in South Bend, Ind. Seth was
born on Feb. 14, 1977, to Lora (Van Ooteghem) and Oliver
Wade, III, of Mishawaka. Seth is survived by his parents; a
sister, Mary Catherine Wade and her children, Lora Elizabeth and
Michael Jason. He is also survived by his maternal
grandmother, Mary R. Van Ooteghem; paternal grandmother,
Catherine Wade; and by his paternal grandparents, Oliver and Judy
Wade of Lakeville, Ind.
A funeral Mass for Seth will be held at 11
a.m. on Monday, March 30, in St. Bavo Catholic Church, with Rev.
Daryl Rybicki officiating. Cremation will take place following
the services. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today
in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A wake
service will be held at 7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Seth's family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions be made to The Seth Wade Memorial Fund through
Teachers Credit Union. Seth was a loving, affectionate son,
brother, grandson, nephew, uncle and friend. He especially loved
being "Uncle Seth" to Lora and Michael. We will all
miss his beautiful smile, quick wit, and his tender heart. Even
as a small child, he had a strong sense of justice and was moved
to tears by other people's pain. We are so grateful for God's
gift of Seth to us, and the time we shared with him. And our
memories are full of his love for us.
