NEW CARLISLE - George L. Walker, 63, passed away
Wednesday, November 14, 2007, in Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
George was born on January 1, 1944, in South Bend to George F.
and Florence B. (Schlinker) Walker. He retired from the
Mastics Corporation after 26 and a half years and then was a
self-employed contractor.
On February 12, 1966, George married Connie
L. Cloyd who survives. Also surviving are his children,
Brenda Dale of Greensburg, Indiana, Dan (Qualfa) Walker of
New Carlisle, Steve Walker of Michigan City, Indiana; and seven
grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert Street, New Carlisle, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 601 West Edison Road Mishawaka, IN 46545.
