Mrs. Catherine Walkowiak

November 8, 1877 - June 20, 1962

Mrs. Catherine Walkowiak, 84, of 414 Studebaker St., died at 3am today in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Kalicki, with whom she resided. 

She was born on November 8, 1877, in Terre Coupee.  She also is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Josephine Niespodziany; three sons, Louis, Stanley and Leo, all of South Bend; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Friends may call after 6:30pm Saturday in the St Joseph Funeral Home until services at 9am Monday in St Stanislaus Catholic Church.  Rev. Sigmund A Jankowski, CSC, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in the St Joseph Cemetery. 

Mrs. Walkowiak was a member of the Group 65, Polish Women's Alliance of America and the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America.
