SOUTH BEND - Dorothy M. Walkowiak, 63, of North Kenmore Street, died at 2:45 p.m. Monday in her home of natural causes. Mrs. Walkowiak was born Oct. 7, 1930, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. On Oct. 10, 1964, in South Bend, as Dorothy M. Laskowski, she married Donald L. Walkowiak. He survives, with three sisters, Lucille Kujawski and Trudy Kaminski, both of South Bend, and Joan Bleck of El Paso, Texas; two sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of American Legion Post 50 Ladies Auxiliary, Z.B. Falconettes Nest 80, Moose Lodge 1057 Auxiliary, Westside Conservation Club Auxiliary ''Little Club,'' and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, where a vigil service will be at 7 p.m.
