Stanley C. Walkowiak

May 15, 1903 - June 15, 1982

Stanley C. Walkowiak, 79, of 23735 State Road 2, died at 1:15pm Tuesday in St Joseph's Medical Center after a brief illness.  He was retired in 1963 form the Studebaker Corp. where he had been employed for 25 years. 

He was born on May 15, 1903, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.  On August 7, 1934, in South Bend, he married Martha Kaminski, who survives.  Also surviving is a brother, Leo of South Bend.

Services will be at noon Friday in Holy Family Catholic Church, with Rev.  Daniel E. Peil, pastor, officiating.  Entombment will be in Resurrection Gardens at St Joseph Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 9pm Thursday in the Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:15pm.  He was a member of the Harvest House of Holy Family and St Adalbert's churches, who will recite a rosary at 2:30pm Thursday.  He was a retired member of the CIO Local 5.
