MISHAWAKA - Marian E. Wampler, 84, of
401 White Oak Drive, died at 10:45 a.m. Saturday in Fountainview
Place of natural causes. Mrs. Wampler was the retired
owner/operator of Marian's Beauty Shop. She was born July 5,
1909, in Stryker, Ohio.
On Jan. 28, 1930, as Marian E. Scheer,
she married Carter Wampler. He died Aug. 3, 1976. She is survived
by a daughter, Charlene Fox of South Bend; seven
grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-gr
andchildren. A son, James, died Aug. 5, 1992. She was a member of
St. Paul's United Methodist Church, South Bend, and two of the
church's groups, Women's Society and Senior Citizens.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Bubb
Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in Chapel
Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m.
today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to
the church.
