Paul B. Wanichek

OSCEOLA - Paul B. Wanichek, 89, of 54830 Kristi Lane, died after an illness at 12:45 p.m. Friday in Regency Place, South Bend. Mr. Wanichek was a retired dock worker with Pabst Brewery, Milwaukee. He was born June 7, 1906, in Plainfield, Wis.

 

On Jan. 29, 1949, in Milwaukee, he married Edna Williams. She died in August 1987. Surviving are a daughter, Judith Adams of Osceola; two stepdaughters, Peg Oberholtzer of Waukesha, Wis., and Ruth Williams of Orange, Calif.; three stepsons, Bill Parker of St. Petersburg, Fla., Jimmy Parker of Las Vegas and Raymond Parker, of Rockford, Ill.; a grandchild; two sisters, Julia Wanichek of Milwaukee and Jann Jgertzen of Nekoosa, Wis.; and a brother, Joseph of Cle Elum, Washington.

 

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of services in Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
