Paul Russell Wardlow

Paul Russell Wardlow, 84, of Reddick Street in Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 7:50 a.m. on Friday, April 17, in his residence. He was born on June 23, 1913, to Amos and Grace (Hively) Wardlow in South Bend, Ind. Mr. Wardlow was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Roland Wardlow and Carl Wardlow; and by a sister, Violet Werking. Mr. Wardlow is survived by his son, Dean (Marge) Wardlow of Osceola, Ind.; three daughters, Angela (Eugene) Schutz of Niles, Mich., Sandy Artley of Edwardsburg, Mich., and Rexetta Karacson of Mishawaka; two brothers, John (Edna) Wardlow of Osceola and Willis (Mariam) Wardlow of Indiana; a sister, Midge Davis of California; and by 12 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Wardlow was employed by Barnard Hardware. He retired in 1979 after 37 years of service.

 

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 20, with additional visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637-3437.
