ROBERT WARD     

Robert Ward, 75, 570 Oakhill Ave., Plymouth, died at noon, Friday at Miller's Merry Manor, Plymouth, after being ill five months.  He retired after 20 years of service with the Weisberger Paper Company of South Bend.     

Mr. Ward was born July 27, 1910 at South Bend and had lived at Plymouth 13 years, coming here from South Bend.   He was married Jan. 30m 1932 at South Bend to Stella E. Carr, who survives.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge.     

Surviving with his wife are three sons: Roger E. Ward, South Bend; Richard C. Ward, De Bary Fla.; and James R. Ward, Manhattan, Kan.; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and two sisters: Virginia Bolf, Tamarac, Fla.; and Mildred Bishop, South Bend.     

Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Monday at Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood, South Bend, with Rev. Joseph Wick of the First Christian Church officiating.  Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery, South Bend.    

Friends may call from 2 till 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday.
