Jan. 9, 1914 - April 11, 2010SOUTH BEND - Grace M. Watkins, 96, of South Bend, passed away at 12:40 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2010, in the Healthwin Specialized Care Center, South Bend. Grace was born on January 9, 1914, in Lafayette, Colorado, to the late Charles and Maude (McCarty) Miller. On June 18, 1943, in South Bend, she married Robert Watkins, who passed away June 20, 2005. They were members of the Studebaker's Driver Club, and she proudly served her country in the Army. She was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship Pentecostal Church of South Bend. She is survived by three children, Robert (Reba) Watkins of Hogansville, GA, Charles (Marina) Watkins of Niles, MI, and Jerry (Mary) Watkins of South Bend, IN; as well as 11 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sister, Faye Mosler of Longmont, CO. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2010, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 15, in the funeral home, with entombment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Rev. Wayne Graham will officiate.
