Mary E. Watson, 62, of 203 Marshall Blvd., Elkhart, died at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday (April 11, 1989) at Americana Health Care Center. She had been in ill health. She was born Dec. 4, 1926, in Mishawaka.

 

As Mary E. Brennaman, she married Kenneth Watson on Oct. 12, 1949 in Mishawaka.

 

He survives with a son, Lee, Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Felipe (Sue) Campos, Goshen, and Elizabeth, Fayetteville, W.Va.; three grandchildren; and one sister, Zola Lechlitner, Wakarusa.

 

Arrangements are pending at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart Chapel.

 

Mrs. Watson was employed at Americana Healthcare Center and for the past seven years at Paints and Solvents Co.

 

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and its Women’s Circle. Memorials may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.

A memorial service for Mary E. Watson, 62, of 203 Marshall Blvd., Elkhart will ne at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. David Bagley will officiate. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery.

 

Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
