SOUTH BEND - Theresa E. Waumans, 74,
of Eunice Street, died at 5:06 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Waumans was born Sept. 1, 1920, in South Bend.
On Nov. 15, 1942, in South Bend, as Theresa
E. Hagye, she married Louis C. Waumans. He died March 24,
1981. She is survived by two daughters, Gerri Waumans and Betty
Ann Denny, both of South Bend; a son, Michael of South
Bend; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters,
Margaret Barson and Kay Epperson, both of South
Bend.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Our
Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill
Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to
8 p.m. Thursday in Zahoran Funeral Home, where the parish rosary
will be said at 3 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the
American Diabetes Association.
