NORTH LIBERTY - Eleanor E. Wawrzyniak, 82, passed away at 3 p.m. on January 22, 2009, in Miller's Merry Manor, New Carlisle. Eleanor was born on November 5, 1926, in South Bend to the late Stephen and Mary (Kominkiewicz) Niespodziany.   On September 9, 1950, Eleanor married Edwin A. Wawrzyniak and he passed away on December 20, 1991. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Wawrzyniak; sisters, Irene Dabros, Helen Morrissey and Genevieve Ruszkowski; a brother, Edward Ruszkowski; and son-in-law, Anthony Paczkowski.   Eleanor is survived by a daughter, Marie A. Paczkowski of North Liberty; grandchildren, Toni M. (Vince) Niedbalski of South Bend and Jamie M. (Damon) Blatz of Osceola; great-grandchildren, Patrick III, Mallory and Paige; sister, Clare (Edward) Bilinski of South Bend; and brother, Walt Ruszkowski of New Carlisle. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Eleanor was very fond of young children and animals. A Special "Thank You" to Miller's Merry Manor.   Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, January 25, 2009, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A funeral service will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2009, in the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum in the St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
