Martha E Weaver

August 2, 1900 – April 27, 1982

Mrs. Martha E. Weaver, 81, of 1218 Belmont Ave., died at 1:45am today in her home.  She was a homemaker.

She was born on August 2, 1900, in South Bend, and was a lifetime area resident.  On February 25, 1919, in Goshen she married George E. Weaver, who died on September 26, 1981.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Martha J. Gottron of South Bend; a son, William f. Weaver of South Bend; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Thursday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William, where services are being arranged.  She was a member of the First Untied Methodist Church, the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 2, the White Shrine Chapter 10 and the South Bend Shrine Auxiliary.

Funeral Notes

Services for Mrs. Martha E. Weaver, 81 of 1218 Belmont Ave., who died at 1:45am Tuesday at her home after a short illness, will be at 1pm Friday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St.  Rev. Gary Forbes, D.M., pastor of the First United Methodist Church, and Rev. Kenneth R. Hemphill, pastor of the Olive Chapel Untied Church o Christ, will both officiate.  Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park. 

Friends may call form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Thursday.  She was a member of the Order of Amaranth.
