Lucile Weber

May 4, 1909-March 10, 1995

SOUTH BEND - Lucile (Clemens) Weber, 85, of West North Shore Drive, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Weber formerly taught and supervised elementary school programs in Indiana and Ohio. She was born May 4, 1909, in Cannelton, Ind., and lived in South Bend since 1947. On April 14, 1947, in South Bend, as Lucile Clemens, she married A. Harold Weber. He died in 1980. She is survived by two brothers, Vernon Clemens of South Bend and Frank Clemens of Tell City, Ind.; and 11 nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Saint Mary's College, University of Chicago and University of Cincinnati. She was a member of Christ Child Society, American Association of University Women, Friends of the Snite Museum, Notre Dame Library Association, Saint Mary's Alumni Association, South Bend Symphony, University Club of Notre Dame and St. Joseph's Medical Center Auxiliary.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Sacred Heart Basilica. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road. Memorial contributions may be made to Forever Learning Institute
