Mrs. Rose P. Wegh

Mrs. Rose P. Wegh, 78, of 2906 Fountain Head Blvd., Melbourne, Fla., a former resident of South Bend, died at 6:55 p.m. Sunday in Brevard Hospital, Melbourne, after suffering an apparent heart attack. She was a retired employee of the Studebaker Corp.

Born March 31, 1895, in Hungary, she had lived in South Bend 50 years. In May, 1912, as Rose Pataky, she was married to Ignatz Wegh, who died in 1925. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. William Reid, with whom she made her home, Mrs. John VanAman of Angola, Ind., and Mrs. John Cseh of South Bend; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, John Pataky of South Bend. The Zahoran Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

WEGH – Services for Mrs. Rose P. Wegh, 78, of 2906 Fountain Head Blvd., Melbourne, Fla., formerly of South Bend, who died Sunday in Melbourne after suffering an apparent heart attack, will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. Rev. Phillip Corbett, assistant pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Zahoran Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 7:45 p.m. today by the Legion of Mary. Mrs. Wegh was a member of the William Penn Society.
