Marie A. Weinkauf

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Marie A. Weinkauf, 69, of Galesburg, Ill., a former resident of Mishawaka and Osceola, who died Saturday in St. Francis Hospital, Peoria, Ill., as a result of complications of injuries suffered in a fall at the home of a relative. 

 

Mrs. Weinkauf was born on Jan. 20, 1908 in W. Va.  In 1942, she married William Weinkauf in Mishawaka.  He died in August 1975.  Mrs. Weinkauf had lived in this area from 1942 until 1976.

 

She is survived by a son, John Bohlander of Maquon, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Donaldson of Maquon and Mrs. Margaret Doty of Peoria; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edgar Spencer of Columbus, Ohio and Richard Spencer of Indiana; three sisters, Mrs. Frances Stauffer of Byesville, Ohio, Mrs. Gladys Green of Pleasant City and Mrs. Anna Danforth of Fairbanks, Alaska, and her mother, Mrs. Molly Malone of Pleasant City. 

 

Services were held Monday in the Root Funeral Home, Maquon, with burial in Abingdon Cemetery, Abingdon, Ill. 

 

Mrs. Weinkauf was a member of Calvary Temple, South Bend.
