MISHAWAKA - Karl Weise, age 64, of Mishawaka, IN passed away 6:10 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2008, in his residence surrounded by his loving family. Karl lost his battle with cancer. Fight he did, to survive, to no prevail. He had quoted "Can't keep a good man down" Karl was born November 21, 1943, in Nurnberg, Germany to the late Fritz and Elizabeth (Bohm) Weise. Karl was united in marriage to his best friend and love of his live, the former Kimberly Finger in South Bend, Indiana on November 21, 2006 Kimberly survives, along five children; Caroline Weise of Ottawa Ont, Melinda Weise of Mishawaka, IN, Karl Weise of Toronto, Ont, Walter Weise of South Bend, IN and Kristen Kluszczynski of South Bend, IN. Karl is also survived by five grandchildren; Eric Cole of Mishawaka, IN KC and Sky Weise of Ottawa, Ont. and Aaron and Brandon Thomas, both of Osceola, IN. Karl was an electrical contractor and member of the IBEW for over 40 years, and was the owner of Metro Electric until his retirement in 2005. Karl enjoyed being outdoors, especially on the water, fishing and boating. He also loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Karl loved his music, his neighbors can vouch for that. Karl enjoyed his friends and family, giving all his opinions. He would never hold back he would just tell you like it is. "Gone fishing, to catch the big one"
