Mrs. Constance Wentland

Mrs. Constance (Gramze) Wentland, 60, of 1309 Dunham, died in her residence at 10:25 a.m. Friday after a 15 month-illness. She was an employee of the University of Notre Dame for 20 years. Born Feb. 25, 1915, in South Bend, she was married on Jan. 25, 1941 to Casimir S. Wentland Sr., who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Casimir S. Jr. and Leonard H. Wentland, and one sister, Esther Waslielewski, all from South Bend.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home, where a parish vigil service will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today. Services at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church will be at 10 a.m. Monday, with Rev. George H. Sszymanowski, C.S.C., officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Mrs. Wentland was a member of St. Casimir’s Adoration Society, St. Anne’s Society, Rosary Society and Civic Club
