Mrs. Genevieve Whicker

March 22, 1934 – September 4, 1969

Services for Mrs. Genevieve Margaret Wicker, 65, former South Bend resident who died Thursday in the R.N. Nursing Home, Teegarden IN, were to be held today in the Forest G. Hay & Son Funeral Home.  Rev J. Robert Clark, pastor of the Grace United Methodist Church, was to officiate and burial was to be in Southlawn Cemetery.

She was born on March 22, 1934, in Hoopston IL, coming to South Bend 43 years ago from Attica IN.  Her husband, Abner Whicker, died in 1951.  Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Loretta Mann of W. Lafayette; a brother, Phillip M. Barragree of Rossville IL, and a half-sister Mrs. Mabel Chenowith of South Bend.
