Donald L. White
July 4, 1914 – May 14, 1980
SOUTH BEND – Donald L. White,
65, of 1625 Knoblock, died this morning in Veterans
Administration Hospital in Indianapolis, after a brief illness.
He was a former Bendix employee. Born July 4, 1914 in South Bend,
he had lived here his lifetime. On June 7, 1941 in South Bend, he
married Helen B. Mindor, who survives. Also surviving are
a daughter, Mrs. Ann Wawrayniak of South Bend; two sons,
Donald of South Bend, and Neal of Amarillo, Tex.; five
grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Betty Fetters of Wyatt, and
seven brothers, Vern, Art, Walt, Roy, Martin and Max, all of
South Bend, and Richard of Fairview Heights, Ill.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home. He was a member of Chapter 6, Disabled American Veterans.
