Sister M. Viscetta White CSC

Sister M. Viscetta of St. Mary’s Convent, died ewarly this morning in the convent after an extend illness. She was born in 1877 in Newfoundland and was named Emily White. She came to St. Mary’s in 1892 and received the habit of the congregation in 1893. She made her profession of vows in 1895. She was a music teacher in South Bend schools from 1913 to 1915. Surviving is a sister, Sister Fausta CSC, of the comvent.

 

A mass will be held at 7 a.m. in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto and burial will be in the community cemetery at St. Mary’s. Friends may call in the convent parlor.
