Inez V. Wieczorek
March 1, 1912 - April 28, 1999
Inez V. (DeMaegd) Wieczorek, 87, of
South 35th Street, South Bend, Ind., died at 3:25 a.m. on
Wednesday, April 28, in Hospice House. Mrs. Wieczorek was
employed by the Studebaker Corporation and retired from C.J.
Wood, Inc., in 1974.
She married Richard Wieczorek on Sept. 12,
1936, in South Bend. He died on Sept. 3, 1983. She was also
preceded in death by two sisters, Rachel Pelissier and
Geraldine Huys. She is survived by a daughter, Joan Rae Wieczorek
of South Bend; two sons, James R. (Shirley) Wieczorek of
Mishawaka, Ind., and John F. (Kay) Wieczorek of Carmel, Ind.;
three grandchildren, Sherri (Ron) Boren and James
Wieczorek, Jr., both of Mishawaka, and Grant Wieczorek of Carmel;
and by two great-grandchildren, Morgan Boren and R.J. Boren, both
of Mishawaka.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in St.
Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, where friends may call an hour
before services. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery,
Mishawaka. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to St.
Anthony's or to Hospice of St. Joseph County, Inc. The Hickey
Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
