Tyler Brant Wiegand, 17, of North Liberty, IN passed away Saturday morning, April 16, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on May 4, 1993 in South Bend, IN to Jason E. and Carla C. (Nickles) Wiegand.

Tyler is survived by his parents; sister, Alyssa Wiegand of the University of Indianapolis; brother, Phillip Wiegand of North Liberty, IN; grandfather, Nelson E. Nickles of Walkerton, IN and grandmother, June M. Wiegand of Walkerton, IN. He is also survived by three uncles, James A. Wiegand of Walkerton, IN, Jon J. Wiegand of Walkerton, IN and Robert E. (Nikki) Nickles of Granger, IN. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, LaVon M. Nickles on June 24, 2003 and his grandfather, Jerry A. Wiegand on May 12, 1999. Tyler was a student at John Glenn High School and was very active in the Future Farmers of America. He was a member of the Boy Scout Troop 239. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in the Tyner United Methodist Church, 4503 French St. Tyner, IN. Rev. Michael Dixon will officiate. Burial will follow in Fair Cemetery, North Liberty, IN. Friends may visit with the family in the church from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday. Palmer Funeral Home-Lakeville is handling the arrangements.
