MISHAWAKA - Sister M. Aloysiana Wiese, OSF, 87, of Our Lady of Angels St. Francis Convent, died about 11:45 p.m. Thursday in her residence.

 

Sister M. Aloysiana was born March 13, 1907, in Reynolds, Ind., as Josephine Wiese and lived in Mishawaka since 1963. She entered the convent Aug. 14, 1931; received her Franciscan habit on June 29, 1932. She was assigned at convents and hospitals in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, and served her last mission at St. Anthony's Hospital, Terre Haute, Ind. She is survived two sisters, Betty Farley and Anne Becker, and a brother, Francis, all of Lafayette, Ind.

 

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Francis Convent Chapel. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. A wake will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the convent chapel. Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
