Clifford W. Williams, 83, of Cedar Street, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 3:23 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, in Saint Joseph Community Hospital. He was born in Waterloo, Ala., on March 16, 1918, and had lived in this area most of his life. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, John M. and Ola B. (White) Williams; five brothers, Jeff, Lewis, Roy, Carl and Ray; and by three sisters, Hattie Nesbitt, Nora Williams and Mary Love.

Clifford retired in 1977 from Uniroyal after 33 years of service. He was a member of South Side General Baptist Church in Mishawaka.

Mr. Williams married the former Virginia Holcombe in Waterloo. She survives. He is also survived by two sons, Jesse M. Williams of South Bend, Ind., and Denny L. (Jean) Williams of Mishawaka; and by two grandchildren, Brent A. (Jennifer) Williams of Mishawaka and Susan M. Williams of Las Vegas, Nev.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 27, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, with Rev. Adolph Lacy and Rev. Jeff Little officiating. Entombment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
