David Lee Williams

David Lee Williams, 63, of West Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Ind., passed away after a brief illness at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mr. Williams was born to the union of Josie (Swift) and Arthur Williams on Sept. 18, 1933, in Earle, Ark. Coming from Detroit, Mich., he had been a local resident of South Bend since 1953.

Leaving to cherish his memory are his parents, Josie and Clarence Hunter; a special friend, Charlotte Anderson; a daughter, Joanne Williams of South Bend; five sons, Junior Lee Williams of Osceola, Ark., Dennis Williams, David Vernell (Carolyn) Williams, Dale Barnett Williams, all of South Bend, and Jimmie Lee Williams of Carpenter, Ga.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Alford's Mortuary, with burial following at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
