SOUTH BEND - James Erven “Jim Boy” Williams, 30, of 14051/2 Lincoln Way W., died Friday morning at 1206 N. Fremont St. of a gunshot wound. The death is being investigated as a homicide. Mr. Williams was a former employee of Hansel Neighborhood Service Center. He was born May 9, 1963, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

 

He is survived by two daughters, Lateecia Renee Williams and Jasmine Nicole Williams, both of South Bend; his mother, Esther Wade of South Bend; and six sisters, Eleanor L. Jamerson of Dallas, and Michelle Stuckey, Arlene Moss, Laverne Stuckey, Esther Stuckey and Melissa Wade, all of South Bend. He was a LaSalle High School graduate.

 

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Clark's Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services in the funeral home.

Survivors include a brother, Jessie Stuckey of South Bend.
