Montie O. Wilson, 91, of Mishawaka, Ind., died after an illness on Sunday, Sept. 9, in Fountainview Place. Montie O. Wilson, She was born in Winchester, Tenn., on Sept. 1, 1910, to Thomas and Nicie (Neal) Busbee. Mrs. Wilson had lived in our area since 1943, and retired from the Osteopathic Hospital, having worked there as a nurse for over 20 years. She was a member of the Berean Bible Church of South Bend, Ind.

 

On Jan. 7, 1950, in South Bend, she married Lawrence Wilson, who died in 1960. Montie was also preceded in death by two great-granddaughters, Gretchen and Jennifer; and by her stepdaughter, Clara Ann Wilson. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce McCune of Mishawaka; two sons, Thomas (Dixie) Hall of Mishawaka and Jon (Mary Jo) Hall of South Bend; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren; and by a brother, Neal Foster of Winchester.

 

Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 11, in the FOREST G. HAY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, in the funeral home, with Rev. Richard Jordan of Bloomington, Ill., officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International.
