Mrs. Irene Wiltfong, 78, of 211 S. Maple St., North Liberty, died Sunday in her home. She was born on Aug. 10, 1885, in LaPorte County. Surviving is her husband, Wilbert Wiltfong, two sons, Don Wiltfong of South Bend and Kenneth Wiltfong of North Liberty; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Kanouse of Mishawaka and Mrs. Ida Hahn of Lawndale, Calif; two brothers Oscar and Orson Bunton, both of New Carlisle; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday in the Hickey Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Brueseke, pastor of Zion United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joh McCausin, William Brien, Herman and John Riedel, Howard Snyder and Volf Waechter.
