Calvin Wise Jr

July 31, 1925 – September 5, 1984

Calvin Wise Jr., 59, of 57616 County Road 1 South, Elkhart, died of natural causes early today in Memorial Hospital. 

He was born July 31, 1925, in Wakarusa, and had lived the last eleven years in Elkhart, after coming from Goshen.  He was a foreman at Baker Rubber Inc. in South Bend.  He married Ruth Lucille McCreary in Goshen August 29, 1948.  She survives along with a son, Gary of Goshen; three grandchildren; a sister, Elma Norris of Shipshewana; and three brothers, Lowell of Mishawaka, Devon of South Bend and Wayne of Shipshewana.  A sister, Ellen Nagle, preceded him in death.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Thursday in Warner Funeral Home in Osceola.
