Sister M. Salomea CSC, 63, of Saint Mary’s Convent, a sister of Rev. J. Witucki CSC, pastor of St. Casimir’s Catholic Church, died at 10:50 a.m. today in St. Joseph Hospital, South Bend. She had been a patient there since she suffered a paralytic stroke March 20th while teaching in St. Mary’s School in Michigan City. A veteran teacher, she spent 33 years at St. Hedwig School in South Bend, leaving in 1936. She later taught in Logansport and the last three years in Michigan City. A daughter of the late Andrew and Agnes Witucki, she was born in South Bend Dec. 22, 1884.

 

Friends may call in St. Mary’s infirmary at St. Mary’s. Funeral services will be at 6 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s  by her brother. Burial will be in the community cemetery at St. Mary’s.
