MISHAWAKA - Ruth Marie Witz, 53, died Sunday, September
14, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Ruth was born
November 1, 1954, in Omaha, NE, to Albert Benjamin and Geraldine
DeLores (Sweet) Coleman, who preceded her in death
along with a sister, Penny Amick. Ruth retired as a
dietary aide for St. Paul's Retirement Community where she had
worked for over 10 years. On October 23, 1971, in South Bend, she
married William L. Witz, who survives along with her sisters,
Betty (Richard) Baxter and Diana (Hubert) Betzer of
Mishawaka; her brother, Edward (Pam) Coleman of Florida; nine
nieces and nephews, 14 great-nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18th, in the HICKEY Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road, with interment following at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call one hour prior to services Thursday in the funeral home.
