Brother Ulrich Wolf CSC

Brother Ulrich CSC, 66, until recently engaged in agricultural work at St. Joseph Farm, near Granger, this county, died of heart trouble this morning in the infirmary at Notre Dame. A native of Treves, Germany, he, as Nichols Wolf, received the holy habit of the Congregation of the Holy Cross at the novitiate in France, Nov. 1, 1889. He was professed to the order Aug. 15, 1893, in that country, and came to the United States in 1903. Since that time he has been engaged in agriculture, for a time located at Columbia University, a Holy Cross institution in Portland, Ore. He is survived by a numbers of relatives in Treves and Chicago. He was born April 12, 1865.

 

Funeral rites will be conducted Saturday morning at 8 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church at Notre Dame. Internment will be in the community cemetery.
