Loraine H. Wolf, 76, of David Street, Roseland, Ind., died at 5:54 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18, in her residence. She was born on Aug. 2, 1922, in South Bend, Ind., to Irene (Fetters) and Harry Vito Brunette, both of whom preceded her in death.

 

On July 4, 1942, in South Bend, as Loraine H. Brunette, she married Milo E. Wolf, who preceded her in death on May 9, 1980. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Wolf.

Mrs. Wolf is survived by four daughters, Sue and her husband, Larry Dietl, Sandra and her husband, Larry Dutoi, Michele and her husband, Jerry Selby, all of South Bend, and Mary and her husband, Charles Shaffer of Nappanee, Ind.; two sons, Michael and his wife, Debbie Wolf of Elkhart, Ind., and Mark and his wife, Cathy Wolf of South Bend; seven granddaughters, four step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lucille Burkhart, Betty Krueper and Audrey Lackman, all of South Bend; and by a brother, Donald Brunette, also of South Bend.

Mrs. Wolf was a loving and caring mother. She was a retired chief deputy in the St. Joseph County Assessor's office where she had worked for 35 years, and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, South Bend.

 

Services for Mrs. Wolf will be at 10 a.m. on Friday Nov. 20, in Christ the King Catholic Church, South Bend. Rev. Thomas J. Jones, C.S.C., will be the celebrant. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the Welsheimer Funeral Chapel North, 17033 Cleveland Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Burial will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637. Loraine H. Wolf will be truly missed by her family and friends.
