Leonard WOODCOX, 69, Rt. 5, Rochester, [Indiana] died Saturday at 8:02 p.m. in Woodlawn Hospital where he was a patient for six days.  He had been in failing health for six months.

 

He was born January 02, 1911 in Fulton County to Eli and Ethel SPURLOCK WOODCOX, and had resided most of his life in this [Fulton] county.

 

He was married Dec. 11, 1932 to Marjorie MOORE, who survives. He was self-employed.

Surviving with the wife are three daughters, Mrs. Joe (JOAN) CUNNINGHAM, Mrs. Jerry (JANET) ANDREWS, and Mrs. Gene (PATRICIA) CONLEY, all of Rochester. Two sisters, Ida Belle STEININGER, Rochester, and Carrie WOODCOX, South Bend; twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.  A brother and three sisters preceded in death.

Services were at 2 p.m. today in the Foster & Good Funeral Home with the Rev. John PHILLIPS officiating,  Burial was in the Athens Cemetery.
