Wilbur Wordinger

Osceola – Wilbur Wordinger, 55, of 422 W. Superior St., died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Veterans Administration Hospital, Indianapolis, following an extended illness.

 

He was born Aug. 3, 1918 in Wyatt and had lived in Osceola 28 years.

 

Mr. Wordinger married Mary Roeder on Jan 24, 1941 in Mishawaka. She survives with one daughter, Mrs. John (Janice) Wolfe, Mishawaka; one brother, Harold, North Liberty and one sister, Mrs. Hilda Nicolini, Mishawaka

 

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Warner Funeral Home, where services will be at 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Thomas Frost, pastor of Osceola United Methodist Church, will officiate.

 

Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

 

Mr. Wordinger was employed at Dodge Manufacturing, Mishawaka. He was a veteran of WW II and a member of VFW Post 360, Mishawaka.
