Violet J. Worth

SOUTH BEND - Violet J. (Tuttle) Worth, 89, of Regency Place, died at 6:05 a.m. Sunday in the nursing home. Mrs. Worth retired from L.S. Ayres Co. in 1982. She was born April 23, 1907, in South Bend.

 

In 1925, as Violet Eherenman, she married Earl D. Tuttle. He died in 1954. In 1959, she married Arthur Worth. He died in 1979. She is survived by three daughters, Vivian Ireland and Delores Cranmer, both of Mishawaka, and Barbara Muncie of South Bend; a son, Ronald E. Tuttle of South Bend; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Anna Lolmough of South Bend. She was a member of Calvary Temple.

 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
