Mr. Robert Kenneth Wright, 72, of West Thomas Street, passed away following a one year illness at 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 28, in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center. Robert was born to the union of the late Mary Ann Sims and Robert Wright on Oct. 20, 1928 in Millview, Fla. and had lived in South Bend for the past year coming from Warrington, Fla. Mr. Wright was a self- employed lawn service attendant. Robert served his country and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1953. Surviving family members who will cherish his memory include two sisters, Ynetter (Henry) Jones with whom Robert lived, and Patricia (Donald) Dowdell of Cincinnati, Ohio; four brothers, James (Ann) McFarlin of Chula Vista, Calif., Samuel McFarlin of Los Angeles, Calif., Isaac (Donna Faaye) McFarlin and Jason McFarlin, both of Warrington, Fla. and a host of other relatives and friends.
