Service for Sister M. Danielita Wrobel CSC, 87, of Our Lady of Holy Cross Convent, 1300 E. Erskine Hill, who died at 3:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Church of Loretto at St. Mary’s, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, also at St. Mary’s. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday in St. Mary’s Convent, where a wake will be at 7 p.m.

 

She was born Rose Wrobel on March 3, 1902 in South Bend. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross at St. Mary’s on July 2, 1921; was received as a novice Jan. 6, 1922; and professed her vows Aug. 15, 1924. She was assigned to teaching at St. Hedwig, South Bend, from 1927 to 1927 and from 1930 to 1937; St. Michael’s School in Plymouth from 1937 to 1941; and schools in Valparaiso; Hammond; Peoria, Ill.; and Salt Lake City; retiring to Our Lady of Holy Cross Convent in 1973.
