Thomas C. Wruble

Feb. 10, 1929 - June 18, 1998

Thomas Casmir Wruble, 69, of East Marion Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after an illness on Thursday morning, June 18, in his home.

He was born on Feb. 10, 1929, in South Bend, Ind., to Frank and Frances (Ciegelka) Wruble, both of whom have preceded him in death. A brother, Edward Wruble, died in 1927.

On March 31, 1972, Tom married the former Ruth M. Kruk, who survives.

He is also survived by a daughter, Frances (Lee) Ellsworth of South Bend; two stepsons, Daryl Robert Ramsby of South Bend and Bruce Dane Ramsby of Mishawaka; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; five sisters, Pearl Stawnik, Angie (Richard) Campoli and Jean (Frank) Bojtor, all of South Bend, Florence (Robert) Martin of Griffith, Ind., and Rose (Ernest) Bennett of Mishawaka; three brothers, Marion and Stanley F. Wruble, Sr., both of South Bend, and Harry Wruble of Edwardsburg, Mich.; and by many nieces and nephews.

Tom retired after 30 years at UniRoyal, Inc., Mishawaka, where he was a fireman. He also served 15 years as an associate deputy sheriff on the St. Joseph County Police Department.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, Mishawaka, where a wake service will be held at 3 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 22, in St. Monica Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Fr. William Sullivan officiating. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind.
