Raymond E. Yandl

October 26, 1923April 28, 1982

 

Raymond E. Yandl, 58, of 730 W. Calvert St., was found dead in his home Tuesday of an apparent heart attack.  He was employed at the A.M.General Corp.

 

He was born on October 26, 1923, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.  On March 2, 1955, in Goshen, he married Helen Zubritz, who survives.  Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Bagarus of South Bend; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Beverly Connell of South Bend; a stepson, Richard Ellis of Omaha NB; six step grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Helen Brown of Lafayette LA, Mrs. Anna Williams of Granger, Mrs. Barbara Kish of Tippecanoe IN, Mrs. Katherine Maes of Mishawaka and Mrs. Margaret Krieg of Logansport; two brothers, John and Steve, both of South Ben

Services will be 9am Friday in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church with Rev. Robert Mahoney, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

 

Friends may call from 3 to 8pm Thursday in the Zahoran Funeral Home.  He was a member of the St Anthony’s Club and was a WW II Army veteran.  The rosary will be recited by the St Ann Society at 7:15pm Thursday n the funeral home
