Kenneth M. Yaw, 40, of West Adams Road, South Bend, passed away unexpectedly at 1 a.m. on Sunday, July 3, 2005, in his residence. He was born on October 2, 1964, in Paw Paw, Michigan to Kenneth L. and Rose Marie (Rybarski) Yaw. His father, Kenneth L. Yaw passed away on April 7, 1983.

On June 30, 1990, in Three Oaks, Michigan, Kenneth married Aurora Cavazos. Surviving Kenneth is his wife, Aurora Yaw; his mother, Rose Marie Yaw of Decatur, Michigan; a stepdaughter, Michelle L. Konzen of South Bend; two stepsons, Thomas L. Konzen of Mishawaka and Martin E. Niedosik Jr. of Jenison, Michigan; two step-grandchildren, Halie P. Konzen-Ward and Sadie G. Konzen-Ward, both of Mishawaka; two sisters, Kim (Jim) Richardson of South Bend and Karol Williams of Galien, Michigan; a niece, Krystal Williams of Galien, Michigan; a nephew, "Buddy" Williams of Galien, Michigan; and grandmother, Luella Yaw of Dowagiac, Michigan.

Kenneth graduated from Buchanan High School in 1983, and entered the U.S. Army where he served from 1983 to 1987. Kenny enjoyed barbecue, fishing and Harley Davidson motorcycles. He was a member of the N.R.A. Hunting, sports and NASCAR were his interests. Besides being the owner/operator of Kenny's Repair Service, he was also active in the winter months plowing snow. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him and those whose lives he touched.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 6, 2005, from 4 to 8 p.m. Indiana time in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road. Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 7, 2005 at 10 a.m. Indiana time in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
