Dr. Reuben D. Yoder, D.C.

March 9, 1934 - Nov. 29, 2002

Dr. Reuben D. Yoder, D.C., 68 years old, who resided at 17531 Hawks Street, Cassopolis, Mich., passed away at his home. He was found by a neighbor on Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, and passed due to natural causes.

Dr. Yoder was born March 9, 1934, in Arthur, Ill., the son of Dan D. and Lovina (Beachy) Yoder. He grew up in the Arthur area and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa, and practiced as a Chiropractor in the Arthur area for 7 years before moving to South Bend where he practiced as Dr. Reuben D. Yoder, D.C., for over 28 years.

Those members who preceded him in death are his father, two sons in infancy, and his sister, Ella Kemp of Arthur, Ill. Surviving Dr. Yoder is his mother, Lovina Yoder of Arthur, and his children, who are, Pastor Delbert (Dawn) Yoder of Muskegon, Mich., Maggie Yoder and Anita Yoder, both of Sarasota, Fla., and David Yoder of Millersburg, Ind., and the children's mother, Bertha Ann (Hostetler) Yoder of Florida. There are three grandchildren, Kaley, MacKenzie and Dorian Yoder all of Muskegon. There is one sister, Esther Yoder of Arthur and four brothers, Adlai of Ivesdale, Ill., Nelson (Anna) of Sullivan, Ill., Dan (Arlene) of Denver, Colo., and Al of Aurora, Colo. There is a brother-in-law, Elmer Kemp of Arthur.

Dr. Yoder was a member of New Creation Fellowship in Granger, Ind. and the "Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship.' He was a member of the Indiana Chiropractic Association and an alumnus of Palmer Chiropractic College.

Services for Dr. Yoder will be Tuesday at 12 noon in the New Creation Fellowship, 30190 County Road 10, Granger, Ind., with Pastor David Klahr, officiating, as well as Pastor Delbert Yoder, Dr. Yoder's son, who is pastor of Calvary Temple in Fruitport, Mich. Friends will be received at the Church from 10 to noon Tuesday. Burial will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. (Illinois Time) at Sunnyside Mennonite Church and Cemetery in Arthur, Ill. Arrangements are by Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg, Mich. Memorial donations may be given to New Creation Fellowship FOR MISSIONS, 30190 County Road 10, Granger, IN 46530.
