William M. Yoder

William M. Yoder, 83, of West Battell Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away following an illness at 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 25. He was born on Jan. 26, 1919, in Wakarusa, Ind., to William and Natalie Yoder, who preceded him in death.

 

On Oct. 25, 1952, he married the former Elinor M. Jacobs in Mishawaka. She survives. He is also survived by two sons, Ronald W. Yoder of Shepherdsville, Ky., and Terry (Dianne) J. Yoder of Granger, Ind.; his two grandchildren, Brian and Lisa Yoder; and by a sister, Mary Rose Kehr of Wakarusa.

 

Mr. Yoder was a World War II veteran of the Army, and was a member of the Albright United Methodist Church of Mishawaka. He retired from the Uniroyal Corporation in 1978.

 

Services for Mr. Yoder will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, in the Mausoleum Chapel at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Officiating will be Rev. Kenneth Mahan. Burial will follow the services Saturday at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 28, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North.
