SOUTH BEND - Norma J. Young, 84, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 6th, in the Healthwin Specialized Care Center, South Bend. She was born on December 31, 1923, in Lakeville, Indiana, to the late Nora (Petcher) and Emery Weinberg. Norma was also preceded in death by two sisters, Esta Bridges and Beryl Lindzy, and by a nephew, John Lindzy. Surviving Norma are a niece, Nora (Donald) Glunt of South Bend; five nephews, William (Sandra) Lindzy of Fernley, NV, Robert Lindzy of Bradenton, FL, Jack (Nancy) Lindzy of South Bend, Richard (Judy) Lindzy of South Bend and Thomas (Debbie) Lindzy of Oswego, IL; and by many great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews. Norma was a claims manager for the Chicago Motor Club for over 50 years. She was a graduate of Washington Clay High School. She was a member of the Women's Insurance Association, and she loved to bowl.

 

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place in the Welsheimer Crematory, South Bend, with burial at a later date in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN. The Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, South Bend, assisted the family with arrangements.
